A guided client experience is a method URLidiots.com employs to help ease or direct visitors on your site to different parts of the site.  We also influence how visitors interact with the site by emphasizing certain buttons over others and controlling how many objects can be clicked on in each page.  We always allow the visitor a way out and never trap them on one page because we don't want them using that dreaded "back" button all the way back to Google.

High value content.  Every website, including ours, needs to have free high value content available.  It is important to embed yourself or your company as an expert or someone that they would like to do business with.  If you can make them happy, comfortable and provide them with something of value you can build a relationship.

Social networking is an excellent way to build relationships with current and future customers.  The key is not to spam your customers.  If you become "friends" with someone on Facebook and the only thing they hear from you is how you can save them money or how your widget will make their life easier you won't be friends long.  Interact with your future customers in an honest and genuine fashion.  It is okay to slide in the occasional promotion but keep it honest and genuine.  Otherwise you will have a very lonely Facebook profile.

Incentives and special offers can be handled by using the methods we listed above for improving traffic.  People on the internet are looking for a deal.  Nobody wants to pay full price.  Keep in mind you don't want to spam your email list, friends list, followers or connections.

Freebies are one of the hardest things to get small to medium business owners to do.  You have to be willing to do something for free for every person that walks through the door.  This may seem counter intuitive to a good business plan but the internet works like no other marketplace on the globe.  What you are trading for this "freebie" is the right to contact that person in the future via your blog postings, a newsletter or coupons.  You are harvesting names, emails and phone numbers in exchange for this freebie.  As anyone on the internet will tell you, the most valuable commodity is a "subscriber."
